Last weekend, the Hack Manchester event took place at the Museum of Science and Industry. The event is essentially a 24 hour coding competition, with various challenges that participants can choose to tackle. Teams of up to four people had the allocated 24 hours to turn an idea into a successful working product.
Alan entered the category sponsored by One Diary entitled ‘Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That.’ I am sure many of you are familiar with the viral sensation Youtube video that this category is named after. However, just in case you aren’t (and because I wanted to watch it again), it is included below:
The focus of this category was to help people organise their lives. The best time management related hack would receive £400 in Amazon vouchers. Alan stepped up to the plate against fifteen other entrants and won. He hasn’t stopped talking about it since! (Key statistics for the event are available here).
Alan’s submission, enabled the One Diary calendar management service, to integrate the functionality of the popular project management web application Trello. You can view Alan’s submission video below:
