Warrington Business Expo
On Friday 27th April, we were exhibiting at the Warrington Business Expo at the De Vere Village Hotel in Warrington and we thought we would write a short detail of our experiences. The day started nice and early with myself, Ian, Adrian and a car full of Magma supplies making our way down the motorway to Warrington.
Once we arrived at the hotel, we were shown to our stand and began to set up. We therefore had an extremely full stand with our pop-up banners, pens, mugs, screen cleaning cloths, leaflets and not to mention our design portfolio “on screen” .
After set up we waited for the Mayor of Warrington to open the event at 10:30am, I prepared for the day with a coffee whilst Adrian began his with a chocolate muffin. Following the “official opening ceremony” the Mayor began his tour of the exhibition stands along with streams of delegates wanting to find other businesses that they may benefit from.
We were one of the businesses that was hoping to benefit others with the services we had to offer. For anyone who doesn’t know what it is that we do take a look at our services page for a brief summary which will take you through to more indepth information on our individual services (you may even spot our Magma Digital animals too!)
The day went very well, with Magma Digital meeting some very interesting and lovely people throughout the day. Adrian gave a workshop on the New Cookie Law which comes into effect on the 26th May 2012. If you would like a copy of the slides or to talk about the Cookie Law please drop us an email.
All in all the day was very rewarding and a well organised first event for the organisers. The talk among the delegates was of the quality of the main talks and how useful they had been to them. We must say a big thank you to the organisers of the Expo for all their hard work.
We hope you all enjoyed Warrington Business Expo 2012 as much as we did and we look forward to seeing many of you again at other events!
